Do you ever feel like you have emerged better for reading a book? (submitted by Rubina @ Booklove)
Yes, I have I absolutely loved reading in English Class in High School granted I think I was the only student who loved reading in English Class. I also feel extremely better reading a great book that I absolutely love and enjoy as well!
I actually was quite different. I was a huge reader as a child and then stopped reading in HS. I also never liked our chosen books for English, but found my love for books again once I read HP.

DeleteEnglish class was definitely one of my favourite classes during high school, though the books we read weren't my favourite. Though that probably had something to do with the fact that we had to group read aloud to each other, and I prefer just to be in my own little bubble. Generally, I think reading betters us as people all in all because we're expanding our knowledge in general, and that's always great.

Yes English class was one of my favorite as well and we also had to read out loud too but I didn't mind the books the English teacher choose. I thought some books were great and some not so much but I did enjoy reading them. Thank you so much for stopping by my blog hop.
DeleteI never agreed with my English teacher's choice of books in high school. Silas Marner? Seriously? If her intent was to turn me into a non-reader, she might have succeed except that I discovered a lot books to read instead. :-) I just hopped onboard this hop and am making the rounds to see how others answered the question. Very interesting. All so different. www.cleemckenziebooks.com
