Here and Gone is a gripping, wonderfully tense suspense thriller about a mother's desperate fight to recover her stolen children from corrupt authorities.

It begins with a woman fleeing through Arizona with her kids in tow, trying to escape an abusive marriage. When she's pulled over by an unsettling local sheriff, things soon go awry and she is taken into custody. Only when she gets to the station, her kids are gone. And then the cops start saying they never saw any kids with her, that if they're gone than she must have done something with them...

Meanwhile, halfway across the country a man hears the frenzied news reports about the missing kids, which are eerily similar to events in his own past. As the clock ticks down on the search for the lost children, he too is drawn into the desperate fight for their return.

Omgosh I absolutely and totally loved and enjoyed Here and Gone, it was just a perfect suspenseful thriller book for me. I tell you from the first chapter I know I was going to really love this amazing book, because it start off really good from the start. And than I was on my toes while reading through this whole book and cheering on Audra to never give up hope and stay strong. And I really hope she never break under pressure and on everything she was going through with the horrible and cold hearted villains in this book which I will not name them because, I so despise them plus it would be spoiler. I was really hoping that something really bad and ugly happen to the villains and something big does happen at the end with the horrible and cold blooded villains. That had me bouncing on my chair to read more. But I will tell you I was really satisfied on how everything went down at the end you all just have too read and find out what I am talking about. Because the ending will leave you with an amazing and glorify feeling that justice was done right. And Audra is really a very strong and kickass mom that she will tear you from limb to limb to get her kids back. Audra was absolutely a strong fighter and proudly showed everybody that she was not a bad mom or killer at the end of the book. I tell you I could of done a victory dance in my living room reading that scene I just love every min of it! All and all Here and Gone was a fantastic book for me that I will most definitely want to read more books by Haylen Beck in the near future!
