Forget the ghosts, Mica. It’s real, live people you should fear.

Tragedy has brought Micaela Burgos back to her hometown of Sleepy Hollow. It’s been six years since she chose to live with her father in Miami instead of her eccentric mother. And now her mother is dead.
This town will suck you in and not let go.

Sleepy Hollow may be famous for its fabled headless horseman, but the town is real. So are its prejudices and hatred, targeting Mica’s family as outsiders. But ghostly voices carry on the wind, whispering that her mother’s death was based on hate…not an accident at all. With the help of two very different guys—who pull at her heart in very different ways—Micaela must awaken the hidden secret of Sleepy Hollow…before she meets her mother’s fate.
Find the answers.

Unless, of course, the answers find you first.

*** I received this book on Netgalley in exchanged for an honest review. Thank you so much too Entangled: Teen for the opportunity to read and review Wake the Hollow! ***

Phew I've been really busy this month so I am way behind on my reads even though I am a few books ahead from my Goodreads challenge. But every time I pick this book up I always had too put it back down quickly. Not because I didn't like it because I absolutely love and enjoy Wake the Hollow a lot, but because I always got interrupted while reading it and that really got on my nerve more than anything. But finally this week has been less hectic and went back to normal I caught up and finished this amazing book this week. I tell you this book is an excellent book for Halloween because that's the month this book is set on. I absolutely love books that are set on Halloween especially if it is set in Sleepy Hollow because I love any books that are set in Sleepy Hollow and talks about the headless horsemen. This book is a different take of Sleepy Hollow though . Ohh it still has some paranormal aspects in this book with the horsemen. But it is more a YA Murder Mystery book for me which I absolutely love and enjoyed that twist in this book. You see Micaela Burgos comes back too Sleepy Hollow after six years she left her mother now her mother was found dead in a bath tub in her family home. Mica mother death was consider an accidental death by the police so Micaela decided too come back too Sleepy Hollow too settle her mother things and find out what truly happen to her mother. Mica has been having nightmare with a silhouette woman with a crying baby in her dreams and the silhouette woman asking for Micaela help too find something important. Micaela has been having these terrible nightmare when she find out her mother was dead. But Micaela is determine to find out what truly happen too her mother, because she has been hearing ghostly whisper in the winds as well since she first step into Sleepy Hollow and that her mother was killed because they hated for what her mom done and that her death was no accident at all. I absolutely love the twist and turns in this book that it left me guessing through the whole book. I really enjoyed putting the puzzle pieces together along with Micaela. Now there is kind of love triangle in this book but not really because the romance wasn't the main focused in this book, but there is still kind of a love triangle because Mica has too guys that pull in her heart strings in two different ways. Now I won't say the name of the two guys are because I don't want too spoil it for anybody, but I was rooted for one guy specifically who I thought was just perfect for Mica but I won't say who she choose you have too read a find out which guy she choses. But by the end of this book Micaela Burgos finds at all the secrets that her mom was keeping and the whole truth about her mothers death which absolutely broke her heart too pieces. Now I am going to stop right here because I don't want to be too spoiler for anybody but all and all I really love and enjoy Wake the Hollow especially I love Gaby Triana writing style. That I most definitely am going to continue on reading more books by Gaby Triana in the near feature.
