Featured & Follow Friday #12: Favorite Books Made Into Movies

Friday, October 30, 2015

THE FUTURE & FOLLOW IS HOSTED BY TWO HOSTS, PARAJUNKEE OF PARAJUNKEE'S VIEW AND ALISON OF ALISON CAN READ. EACH HOST WILL HAVE THEIR OWN FEATURE BLOG AND THIS WAY IT’LL ALLOW US TO SHOW OFF MORE NEW BLOGS.

How does this work? First you leave your name here on this post, (using the linky tools -- keep scrolling!) then you create a post on your own blog that links back to this post (easiest way is to just grab the code under the #FF picture and put it in your post) and then you visit as many blogs as you can and tell them "hi" in their comments (on the post that has the #FF image). You follow them, they follow you. Win. Win. Just make sure to follow back if someone follows you!

What sets this Hop apart from others, is our Feature. Each week we will showcase a Featured Blogger, from all different genres and areas. Who is our Feature today? Find out below. Just remember it is required, if you participate, to follow our Features and ayou must follow the hosts (
Parajunkee & Alison Can Read) as a courtesy. How do you follow someone? Well, if you have a preference, state it in your #FF post. A lot of blogs are transitioning to Wordpress in which they do not have the luxury of GFC, so an RSS subscription is appreciated or if you choose an email subscription. If you don't have GFC please state in your post how you would like to be followed.

Question of the Week:

What are your favorite books that have been made into a movie? - Suggested by Girl of 1000 Wonders.

OHH THIS IS A HARD QUESTION FOR ME. I HAVE A LOT OF BOOKS THAT I LOVE MADE INTO MOVES. BUT I WILL GIVE YOU MY TOP #5 FAVORITE BOOKS THAT  WERE MADE INTO MOVIES THAT I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE MOVIES AS WELL.

1. HARRY POTTER:

BECAUSE I WOULDN'T BE A TRUE POTTERHEAD IF I DON'T  PUT THIS ON MY LIST. THE BOOKS AND MOVIES WAS FREAKING FANTASTIC AND BRILLIANT LOVE LOVE LOVE BOTH THE BOOKS AND MOVIES EQUELLY!

2. THE HUNGER GAMES:

EVEN THOUGH I HAD A TON OF PROBLEM WITH THE FIRST MOVIE. BUT I ABSOLUTELY LOVE CATCHING FIRE AND MOCKINGJAY PART 1 WHICH I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE PART 2 NEXT MONTH!

3. HOWLS MOVING CASTLE:

I ACTUALLY HEARD ABOUT THE MOVIE FIRST BEFORE I EVEN KNOW IT WAS BASE OF A BOOK. AND I HEARD NOTHING BUT GREAT THINGS ABOUT THE MOVIE. SO I READ THE BOOK FIRST AND THAN WATCH THE MOVIE. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE AND ADORE BOTH THE BOOK AND MOVIE EQUELLY!

4.GONE GIRL:

I KNOW THIS BOOK WAS NOT FOR EVERYBODY BUT I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! AND I LOVE THE FILM EVEN MORE EVEN THOUGH I WAS KINDY OF IFFY OF Ben Affleck PLAYING AS NICK DUNNE. I THOUGHT HE WAS NOT GOING TO PULL IT OFF AS NICK. BUT HE ABSOLUTELY DID AN AMAZING JOB ACTING AS NICK IT REALLY SURPRISE ME!

5. THE MORTAL INSTERUMENTS: CITY OF BONES:

AND LASTLY I CAN'T FORGET ABOUT THE MORTAL  INSTERUMENTS: CITY OF BONES. I KNOW THE MOVIE WAS NOT FOR EVERYBODY. BUT I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE MOVIE. I AM A HUGE  MORTAL INSTERUMENT FAN THAT I WENT TOO THE MOVIES THE FIRST DAY WHEN IT CAME OUT IN THE THEATERS. AND I WAS SUPER SHOCK WHEN I SAW ALOT OF THE SEATS WERE EMPTY AT THE SHOW.  I WAS ALSO KIND OF IFFY WITH THE ACTORS IN TMI BUT ONCE I WATCH THE MOVIE. THE ACTORS QUITE SURPRISE ME HOW GREAT THE PLAY MY ALL TIME FAVORTE CHARACTERS IN TMI. ESPECIALLY ROBERT SHEEHAN AS SIMON WHO I AM TEAM SIMON ALL THE WAY. HE DID ABSOLUTELY AMAZING AS SIMON! NOW I CAN'T WAIT TO WATCH THE TV SHOW THAT COMES OUT IN JANUARY!
