Collecting Sacred Creatures #1-5

*** I received this graphic novel through Edelweiss in exchange for an honest review, thank you so much to Image Comics for giving me the opportunity to read and review Sacred Creatures ***

I would like to apologize ahead of time that I am now reviewing this amazing as heck graphic novel because I have first read Sacred Creatures was way back in May. But I just couldn't put into words what I wanted to say about it until now this book is pure dark, gruesome and very grisly. If you don't like really dark, gruesome and very grisly graphic novel than this book is not for you. I also think this book is very gritty as well. Now back in May, I was looking through Edelweiss if they had any good graphic novels that I can read to check out. And that's when I spot the cover of  Sacred Creatures and when I read the synopsis for the graphic novel I had to check it out so I check it out on Edelweiss. And Ooo my, my, my, my this graphic novel is pure crazy and filled with madness I tell you if you read on the book cover of Sacred Creatures there is a quote that says on the book cover  A Mixture Of Madness. That quote is so dead on about this book I won't go into any details about this book because I don't want to be a spoiler. But to me, this book is pure dark and madness I have seen a lot of crazy things that happen in Sacred Creatures that on some certain scenes that I have read and seen I have cringed, left me disgusted and gasping at the same time. Especially the ending of this book left me reeling that I couldn't comprehend on what I was seeing and reading at the end, I mean I couldn't comprehend on what I was seeing and reading while reading the whole graphic novel from the beginning to end. But that scene at the end will forever be stuck in my mind forever, I was completely aghast seeing that specific end scene. Now the artwork was absolutely beautiful and gave the story a very menacing look, the writing style was dark and very gritty I couldn't get enough of reading it. All and all I really love and enjoy Sacred Creatures even though this graphic novel was way off my comfort zone but I do want to continue reading the next volumes of the  Sacred Creatures series.
