This Week Question:
If you are at a really good point in a book and the phone rings or the door bell rings, do you stop reading or let the phone or door bell go unanswered? (submitted by Elizabeth @ Silver's Reviews)

My Answer:
Ohh this is a great question, unfortunately for me I always have to answer the phone or answer the door. Because the ringing well annoyed me too no end and I will lost  my concentration real quick on my book. But that doesn't mean the person on the phone or at my door doesn't feel or see my annoyance. You can see it on my face when I answer the door or hear it in my voice over the phone. Which the person or family member which always end up being can tell that they interrupted  my reading so they quickly apologized for the interruption.

How About You?

  1. Haha! I am sure my annoyance comes through sometimes too. :-) I hate having to talk on the phone and answer the door as it is, add to it interrupting my reading, and it makes me downright grumpy. Thanks for sharing! I hope you have a great weekend.

  2. Oh my annoyance definitely shows if I happen to open the door to someone trying to sell something or make me sign something. I get at least one a day and it drives me crazy! I've started just ignoring them.

  3. Awesome answer! It makes me wonder if my annoyance shows when I answer the door or if they can hear it in my voice when I answer a phone call. I feel like because of my high anxiety I sound more terrified than annoyed.

  6. Great answer, I'm the same way! The ringing will annoy me to no end too. Even though it kills me to stop mid chapter. Happy Reading!

  7. Personally, I try and hide my annoyance depending on who it is. Sometimes I can feel a little rude about greeting someone with an irritated look on my face!

    1. I can understand that, but I am stubborn once I am annoyed I can't help but make a face right away no matter who it is at the door or on the phone and it stays there until it goes away. Thank you so much for stopping by my blog hop Fleur.
