When Tate Collins meets airline pilot Miles Archer, she knows it isn’t love at first sight. They wouldn’t even go so far as to consider themselves friends. The only thing Tate and Miles have in common is an undeniable mutual attraction. Once their desires are out in the open, they realize they have the perfect set-up. He doesn’t want love, she doesn’t have time for love, so that just leaves the sex. Their arrangement could be surprisingly seamless, as long as Tate can stick to the only two rules Miles has for her.

Never ask about the past.
Don’t expect a future.

They think they can handle it, but realize almost immediately they can’t handle it at all.

Hearts get infiltrated.
Promises get broken.
Rules get shattered.
Love gets ugly.

Yes I finally bite the bullet and read a Colleen Hoover book, which I was really hesitant to read her books. Because I heard her books were very emotional books that get your emotion go all kind of crazy, and at the time I was not ready too read her books just yet. But finally I decided this year will be the year that I will read one of her books, and I decided too read Ugly Love because I want to read a book that will make me ugly cry and make my emotions go crazy. But sorry yes there is a huge but I really did very much liked and enjoyed Ugly Love but I did not love it as much. What I mean is that I was ready for the whole wreck your emotions and ugly cry while reading this book, I did tear up in a few pages of Ugly Love and felt sadden for the whole situation and horrible tragedy that happen to Miles and Racheal which nobody should have to go through with that painful event. I was just not wow about this book now don't get me wrong this is all on me. Ugly Love is a fantastic and amazing book that I really highly liked and enjoyed very much which I can't wait to see the movie, and I absolutely loved the plot, writing style and characters especially the growing difficult relationship Tate was having with Miles. I guess I really wanted too know and learn more in depth of what everything happened afterword the horrible tragedy that happen too Miles and Rachael. And I just think I was really ready to read an very emotional and ugly cry kind of book and I thought Ugly Love will give me all the feels for me but it kind of didn't give me the affect that I was expecting. None the less I am so glad and happy I check out Ugly Love from the library I really did highly liked and enjoyed Ugly Love especially Colleen Hoover writing style that I will most definitely will continue on reading more books by Colleen Hoover.

  1. OOOOH! I've only read Confess by Colleen Hoover, and while a lot of people found it really moving, I just wasn't that into it. I guess that kind of put me off from ever reading another because, well, I'm broke. You know how it goes.

    Great review!
