In college, Griffin McCray and his four best friends had their lives planned out. Griffin and Luke Gallagher would join the Baltimore PD. Declan Gray would head to the FBI and Parker Mitchell would go on to graduate school as a crime scene analyst. But then Luke vanished before graduation and their world--and friendships--crumbled.

Now Griffin is a park ranger at Gettysburg, having left life as a SWAT-team sniper when a case went bad. The job is mostly quiet--until the day he captures two relic hunters uncovering skeletal remains near Little Round Top. Griffin just wants the case to go away, but charming forensic anthropologist Finley Scott determines that the body is modern--a young social justice lawyer missing since spring--and all evidence points to the work of an expert sniper. When FBI agent Declan Gray takes over the case, past and present collide. Griffin soon realizes he'll need to confront some of the darkest days of his life if he--and those he cares about--are going to escape a downward spiral of murder that crosses continents.

*** I received Cold Shot through netgally in exchanged for an honest review. Thank you to Bethany House Publishers for giving the opportunity to read and review Cold Shot. ***

I decided to read more Christian Fiction for Lent. And I tell you I am really loving and enjoying so far with all the Christian Fiction that I have read so far. That I dare say my favorite so far is Cold Shot. I absolutely love everything about it. The Plot was full of thriller and mystery that it had me on the edge of my set for the entire time I read this amazing book. The characters yes even the ones I so despise were very well developed and really amazing. That I couldn't stop smiling when the investigators were barter and worked together to solve the difficult murder mystery that they had on there hands. And the villains were cold and cunning that there were always one step ahead of the investigators that I was gripping my chair tight and turning the pages fast too see what would happen next! The writing stile was narrative and very beautiful especially when Mrs. Pettrey wrote when the characters were praying. Which I absolutely love and adore because I do believe in the power of prayers, and the prayers that Mrs. Dani Pettrey were deep and profound that I tear up reading a few of the prayers that the characters were saying. The romance was pure deep soring spiritual and beautiful that had abundance of heated sweet moments between the two main characters that I utterly love and adore both Griffin and Finley. There attraction and love was slow-burn that I really loved when both Griffin and Finley both barter with each other. But they both had something big and terrible happen to them in the past. So they close there heart up because they think nothing would make them ever trust or love again, that's until Griffin and Finley first lays eyes on each other. Fire works exploded in there eyes when the first met of course they didn't get along at first, but when the both started to investigate a dead body they fond at Little Round Top where Griffin works at. Than slowly and surely they both started to get to know each other more and learn more about there secret past they both started to fall for each other. And when I tell you the fall in love they both fall utterly completed in love with each other. That when things got heated and difficult during the investigation that Griffin was there always protecting Finley, he would always have eyes on her no matter where she was. Now I like not going into no details about books because I don't want to spoil anything for the readers. But I do highly recommend Cold Shot to everybody if you love Christian Fiction, Mystery & Suspense and Romance than this book is for you. I absolutely love and enjoy Cold Shot that I will most definitely continue on reading the next books of the Chesapeake Valor series. I really want to know what happens next for Declan, Parker especially too Luke, Griffin brother in the next books which I am supper excited to read and find out what happens to them next!
