"Hi, I'm the guy who reads your e-mail, and also, I love you . . . "

Beth Fremont and Jennifer Scribner-Snyder know that somebody is monitoring their work e-mail. (Everybody in the newsroom knows. It's company policy.) But they can't quite bring themselves to take it seriously. They go on sending each other endless and endlessly hilarious e-mails, discussing every aspect of their personal lives.

Meanwhile, Lincoln O'Neill can't believe this is his job now- reading other people's e-mail. When he applied to be "internet security officer," he pictured himself building firewalls and crushing hackers- not writing up a report every time a sports reporter forwards a dirty joke.

When Lincoln comes across Beth's and Jennifer's messages, he knows he should turn them in. But he can't help being entertained-and captivated-by their stories.

By the time Lincoln realizes he's falling for Beth, it's way too late to introduce himself.

What would he say . . . ?

You know I just want to kick myself for waiting so long to read a book by Rainbow Rowell but I was scare to read one of her books because of so much hype I was afraid that I was going to be so disappointed because how high the hype was but I decided to read Attachments first because I really wanted to get one of her books Landline that comes out this July so I started to read Attachments and let me tell you I was not disappointed at all! I really really loved and enjoyed Attachments so much that I shake my head in shame that I waited so long to read one of her books I know I know the shame. I just couldn't put the book down when I wanted to sleep yes it was that good for me!

I just love love all the main characters and secondary characters as well except for Sam I so don't like Sam at all! but all the characters I connected with especially the sweet, shy, smart and kind hearted gentleman Lincoln I just fell madly in love with him he just so freaking awesome I just can't help but gush about him so much I connected to him right away! Jennifer and Beth what can I say about these two amazing, smart, witty and sexy best friends who help, support and confide in each other about there life issues they both remind me so much about me and my best friend how we talk with each other as well. But Lincoln Lincoln I just really loved and enjoyed reading his pov I loved that special moment that Lincoln had with his mother when he talked and showed her his new apartment his mom was a typical parent who didn't want to let go of her son but they had a beautiful talk that they finally understood each other and that was my favorite part of the book. And the ending ohh the ending was just pure perfect I loved it! All and all an awesome awesome read Attachment was for me now I most definitely going to get Landline and check Rainbow Rowell other books for sure!

Rainbow Rowell writes books. Sometimes she writes about adults (ATTACHMENTS and LANDLINE). Sometimes she writes about teenagers (ELEANOR & PARK and FANGIRL). But she always writes about people who talk a lot. And people who feel like they're screwing up. And people who fall in love.

When she's not writing, Rainbow is reading comic books, planning Disney World trips and arguing about things that don't really matter in the big scheme of things.

She lives in Nebraska with her husband and two sons.
