All those who enjoyed shuddering their way through Alvin Schwartz's first volume of Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark will find a satisfyingly spooky sequel in this new collection of the macabre, the funny, and the fantastic. Is it possible to die -- and not know it? What if a person is buried too soon? What happens to a thief foolish enough to rob a corpse, or to a murderer whose victim returns from the grave? Read about these terrifying predicaments as well as what happens when practical jokes produce gruesome consequences and initiations go awry. Stephen Gammell's splendidly creepy drawings perfectly capture the mood of more than two dozen scary stories -- and even a scary song -- all just right for reading alone or for telling aloud in the dark. If You Dare!
More Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark another Scary Stories book that I thoroughly loved and enjoyed reading this book it was also a very nostalgic read as well. I remember reading some of these stories when I was a kid. This book is also a perfect book to read during the autumn and Halloween season too. More Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark is full of more creepy, very spooky and scary stories that you can tell during a campfire and for Halloween too.
I love the neat and simple writing style in this book that it was really easy to follow and I fully understand the words but the writing style was also very descriptive as well that it brought shivers down my spine on what was happening to each character in this amazing book. Now the terrifying predicaments that each character was going through were both parts creepy and gruesome at the same time that I was on the tip of my toes just reading each story. the illustrations in this book were more creepy than the first book that I just cringe at some of the spooky illustrations. All and all I love and enjoyed reading this book that I hope I can find more books like the Scary Stories series shortly soon.
