Laney Griffin has captured the murderer that has been terrorizing his small town, but Anton Chavoy is no ordinary psychopath -- he's a werewolf. As Laney scratches dates off the calendar until the wolf's return, hoping Anton's transformation will be the proof that wins him the bounty to finance his son's leukemia treatment, Laney's problems continue to mount - he's the chief suspect in Sheriff Nora Hughes' pursuit of the town's murderer. Laney is going to learn the hard way that the CURSE comes at the greatest cost.

I am loving this short mini-comic series Curse it is getting good in each volume. I don't want to go into any details about this amazing comic book without being too spoiled. But volume two left off right at where volume 1 left off at. Now this comic does have a paranormal aspect to it with a werewolf killing people in a small town and the sheriff Nora Hughes is being very pressure from the people in the small town and the Mayor to find out who the true murderer is. But the sheriff Nora has her eyes on her brother-in-law Laney because she wants full custody of her sick nephew so she can help him get better care with her. Now I don't like Sheriff Nora Hughes because first of all, she could have helped her brother-in-law Laney by giving him money and support him with his son who is her nephew but no she just wants to take Laney son away from him just to hurt him the worst way. But there is a reason why she wants to hurt her brother-in-law in the worst possible way and we do find out in this volume why she is such a witch to Laney, but I won't say what the big reason is that is a spoiler. In this volume, Laney has caught the werewolf murderer and has him strapped to a chair down below his basement but he is waiting to give him up to his sister-in-law so he can get the bounty money. And Laney learns a little bit more about the werewolf life and how he got cursed from the first time. But by the end, there is going to be more problem and big trouble for Laney Griffin. All and all I really love and enjoy this comic books so much that, I can't wait to read the next volume of the Curse mini-comic series soon.

Michael Moreci  (Author)

Hi, I'm Michael Moreci. Thanks for stopping by. I'm the author of a number of comics, some you might even recognize. I've written Roche Limit and Hoax Hunters for Image, Curse and Burning Fields for Boom!, and a few other original titles. I've also written stories for characters like Superman, The Flash, Wonder Woman, and Conan the Barbarian. My debut novel, Black Star Renegades, will be released in January of 2018. It's been likened to Star Wars and Guardians of the Galaxy, but I like to think of it simply as a fun space adventure story about a group of outcasts learning to believe in themselves--and trust each other--so they can find the power to defeat the galaxy's evil.  So, that's the book. As for me, I'm a writer, reader, and dad (in no particular order). Stories are at the center of my universe; they've taken me to more places than I can even imagine. But that's what stories are to me--journeys. To other places, to new ideas, to seeing the world anew through a fresh set of eyes.  Now, I get to tell stories of my own, and I love every second of it. Let's have some fun and go on some of these journeys together.
