Post Prompt:

What was the first book that moved you? Scared you, made you cry, disturbed your view of the world?

My Answer:

1. The first book that moved and made me cry was  Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire Sáenz. It is a beautiful coming of age book that my heart just broke for both of the main characters Dante and Ari.

2. The First book to scare me was  Replica by Jenna Black. The villains in this book is an IA who kills innocent people, and very psychotic cold hearted people who will kill anybody just to keep that secret. These villains from this book just petrified me that just by thinking about them sends shivers down my back!

3. The first book that really disturbed me was an adult book called Freedom's Child: A Novel by Jax Miller. Which I will tell you all this book has dark themes and hard triggers in it so be far warn this book is not for everybody. But I absolutely love and enjoy it so much that I am looking for more books like this one.

This Week Question:

Can you read and watch TV or listen to the radio at the same time? (submitted by Elizabeth @ Silver's Reviews)

My Answer:

Unfortunately the answer for me is no because music and TV distracts me all the time when I am reading. Because I always want to pay more attention to the radio or TV while I am reading. So I have to be in complete silence distraction free so I can read my books.

  3. I definitely prefer silence when I read, but most of the time that is not an option. I am pretty good at blocking out everything around me when reading a good book. The key is how involved I am in the book . . . Thanks for sharing! I hope you have a great week!
