This new anthology contains 20 original horror stories, 16 of which have been commissioned from some of the top names in the genre, and 4 of which have been selected from the 100s of stories sent to Flame Tree during a 2-week open submissions window. It is the first of what will hopefully become an annual, non-themed horror anthology of entirely original stories, showcasing the very best short fiction that the genre has to offer.

*** I received this book through Random Things Tours in exchange for an honest review. Thank you so much to Random Things Tour for the opportunity to read and review After Sundown!***

I will tell you all the truth I struggle with short stories anthologies books. I tend to not love or enjoy reading anthologies that much but when I saw that Random Things Tour was doing a blog tour for this horror anthology book. I had to join the book tour for the spooky season because I so love and enjoy reading horror novels that I wanted to check out and try to see if I would enjoy reading this book because it is a genre that I love and enjoy to read so much. Now I will tell you I did struggle a bit with this book there were some stories I didn't enjoy reading but there was most definitely a lot of short stories that I thoroughly loved and enjoyed reading so much. My favorite short stories in this anthology were the supernatural stories they were just perfect for this year's spooky season this October. The only author that I have read her book was C.J. Tudor but now there is a lot of new authors that I do want to check out hopefully soon. All and all I struggle a little bit with this horror anthology at first. But by the end, I thoroughly loved and enjoyed reading the whole book by the end.
