In her first graphic novel, #1 New York Times and USA Today bestseller Marissa Meyer follows Iko, the beloved android from the Lunar Chronicles, on a dangerous and romantic new adventure -- with a little help from Cinder and the Lunar team.

In her first graphic novel, bestselling author Marissa Meyer extends the world of the Lunar Chronicles with a brand-new, action-packed story about Iko, the android with a heart of (mechanized) gold. When rogue packs of wolf-hybrid soldiers threaten the tenuous peace alliance between Earth and Luna, Iko takes it upon herself to hunt down the soldiers' leader. She is soon working with a handsome royal guard who forces her to question everything she knows about love, loyalty, and her own humanity. With appearances by Cinder and the rest of the Rampion crew, this is a must-have for fans of the bestselling series.

Ohh my what a totally and utterly fantastic graphic novel Wires and Nerves was for me, granted this is the first graphic novel I read but I absolutely loved and enjoyed it so much and I have too add that I just love the smell of this book. Ahh I know this won't be my last graphic novel I am going to read. Since I first heard about this book last year I was debating too check it out or not when it was going to come out this year. Because I never read a graphic novel before, but I was really intrigued because I heard this graphic novel was Iko book and I absolutely loved Iko in the Lunar Chronicles. Plus I wanted to go back too the world and read my favorite characters again including Iko. And Ohh boy I am so glad and happy that I decided to give this book a chance. I thoroughly love everything in Wires and Nerves, the plot, the drawings, and of course my favorite characters was well developed and dynamic in every way that I love so much. I so missed these characters so much that it was very nostalgic too read about them again, Ohh I can't forget that I especially missed Marissa Meyer flawless and expressive writing style. That I so need too read her newer books in the near feature because I so love her writing style. Now I won't go into any details about Wires and Nerve, but I will say this book is completely Iko book we do see some of our favorite characters in her book. But this amazing book is mainly center on Iko and what she is doing to help her friends and there is also a little hit of a romance between Iko and a very arrogant lunar bodyguard. There was one scene that I absolutely loved so much that I so shipped them so hard. I hope we see something more about them in the next volume of Wires and Nerve. Now I do highly recommend this amazing graphic novel. But if you haven't read a graphic novel like me, but love The Lunar Chronicles books I say please give this one a try. Who knows you might be surprise with Wires and Nerve, because I was certainly surprise on how much I love and enjoy this graphic novel so much that I can't wait too continue on reading the next volumes of Wires and Nerve!

One of my first spoken words was “story” (right along with “bath” and “cookie”), my favorite toy as an infant was a soft, squishable book, and I’ve wanted to be a writer since I first realized such a job existed.
When I was fourteen my best friend introduced me to anime and fanfiction—over the years I would complete over forty Sailor Moon fanfics under the penname Alicia Blade. Those so inclined can still find my first stories at fanfiction.net. Writing fanfic turned out to be awesome fun and brought me in contact with an amazing group of fanfiction readers and writers. As Alicia Blade, I also had a novelette, “The Phantom of Linkshire Manor,” published in the gothic romance anthology Bound in Skin (CatsCurious Press, 2007).
When I was sixteen I worked at The Old Spaghetti Factory in Tacoma, Washington, affectionately termed “The Spag.” (Random factoid: This is also the restaurant where my parents met some 25 years before.) I attended Pacific Lutheran University where I sorted mail that came to the dorm, carted tables and chairs around campus, and took writing classes, eventually earning a Bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing and Children’s Literature. Knowing I wanted a career in books, I would also go on to receive a Master’s degree in Publishing from Pace University (which you can learn more about here). After graduation, I worked as an editor in Seattle for a while before becoming a freelance typesetter and proofreader.
Then, day of days, someone thought it would be a good idea to give me a book deal, so I became a full-time writer. CINDER was my first completed novel, though I have an adorable collection of unfinished ones lying around, too.
I married my husband in 2011, two months before the release of Cinder, and we adopted our two beautiful twin daughters, Sloane and Delaney, in 2015. Reading lots and lots of bedtime stories is most definitely a new favorite pastime.
