Things are about to get Wicked in New Orleans.

Twenty-two year old Ivy Morgan isn’t your average college student. She, and others like her, know humans aren’t the only thing trolling the French Quarter for fun… and for food. Her duty to the Order is her life. After all, four years ago, she lost
everything at the hands of the creatures she’d sworn to hunt, tearing her world and her heart apart.

Ren Owens is the last person Ivy expected to enter her rigidly controlled life. He’s six feet and three inches of temptation and swoon-inducing charm. With forest-green eyes and a smile that’s surely left a stream of broken hearts in its wake, he has an uncanny, almost unnatural ability to make her yearn for everything he has to offer. But letting him in is as dangerous as hunting the cold-blooded killers stalking the streets. Losing the boy she loved once before had nearly destroyed her, but the sparking tension that grows between them becomes impossible for Ivy to deny. Deep down, she wants… she needs more than what her duty demands of her, what her past has shaped for her.

But as Ivy grows closer to Ren, she realizes she’s not the only one carrying secrets that could shatter the frail bond between them. There’s something he’s not telling her, and one thing is for certain. She’s no longer sure what is more dangerous to her—the ancient beings threatening to take over the town or the man demanding to lay claim to her heart and her soul.

Ahh Ohh how I miss reading a book by JLA I forgot on how much I love her amazing stories. Now I haven't read any books by JLA I think for two years now. But I said for this new year I will continue on reading more books by JLA so I started to read Wicked first by her. And Ohh what a wicked and fantastic read it was for me. I forgot on how much I love JLA writing style which I just love her writing style is very expressive and descriptive. That I can feel the emotions the characters go through in Wicked and I can really see the buildings and places that were set in Wicked, I actually felt like I was right there with the characters in New Orleans with them if that makes sense. If you can see I really loved and enjoyed everything in Wicked. Both the plot and characters was very well rounded and very develop which I love reading every minute of this amazing book. I couldn't put this book down I always kept on thinking about it every time I put it down to read. Now when I keep thinking about a specific book I just know I will love it until the end. Now I don't want to go into any details about Wicked without spoiling it for anybody, but this book is about fae's not just ordinary fae's but dark, manipulative and very dangerous fae's . Which I absolutely love reading about these types of fae's and there is no sugar coating about these creatures in this amazing book, there all are very horrible and terrible creatures. That the fae's only want to cause mayhem in New Orleans. Now I can't wait to read Torn next after reading the awful cliff hanger ending in Wicked like I really need to read the next book like now. I am just glad and happy that I also bought Torn last year before I read Wicked this year so I can binge read these two books together! If you love books by JLA and if you love books with fae's in them than I say this book is for you. But if you haven't than I say try this book you never know that this fantastic book might surprise you!
