A sexy category romance from Entangled's Brazen imprint...

The fighting was just foreplay...

Brent Mason and Hayden Winstead can't stand each other. She plans exclusive parties for her rich familys charities. He's a rough and tumble cop who rigs explosives for a living. Could two people be any less suited for conversation? They think not and prefer to keep it that way.

Unfortunately, their two best friends are deeply, disgustingly in love. Forced together, the mutual attraction simmering beneath the surface of Brent and Hayden's non-relationship grows with every argument until it explodes into a scintillating night of mind-blowing sex. And it wont be the last, as far as Brent's concerned.

Hayden has a secret, though. Her father's company is relying on a merger to save them from financial ruin, and only Hayden's marriage to the CEOs wealthy son can secure the deal. If she's to protect her family, she'll have to forget Brent. And he has no intention of being forgotten.

Ohhh My My I just loved loved reading Asking For Trouble I have to say Asking For Trouble is by far my favorite Line Of Duty book I just now I was going to really love and enjoyed it so much because I really love and adore the sexy, daring, rich and loyal Hayden Winstead she is also a very caring and has a very loving heart and she loves her family to death she would do absolutely anything to help her family but of course Brent Mason thinks she is a shellfish, pampered ice princess who only care for money but Hayden is absolutely Not that and I just wanted to smack the head of Brent for judging and thinking of Hayden in that way she is so more better than that! Brent Mason what can I say at first I loved him when I read about him in His Risk To Take but I thought he was a complete neanderthal to judge Hayden that way in Asking For Trouble but the more I read about him in Asking For Trouble the more I loved him he is a hard worker, dedicated, protective and hot as heck alpha male he also has a true kind heart yes he sometimes acts like a caveman but can you really blame him for acting like that! I just love reading how Brent and Hayden argue and bicker back and fourth it was truly hilarious they didn't even realized it was just foreplay until Hayden decided to play a little game on Brent so he can back off from her but OHH BOY the sparks fly and the total attraction begins and they spent one hot and steamy night together and of course they got interrupted by Hayden mom and they both had to stop but they both wanted more from each other even if they deny it. I really loved reading when Brent and Hayden relationship grow and when they were both surprised to learn and see there true shelf from each other and how they both realized they have fallen in love with each other but once again Brent being the cavemen he is totally reacted like complete idiot and throwing everything out of proposing with a situation that Hayden had no idea of and at first she had no clue on what he was talking about and once again he throw the rich card at Hayden face that was like a slap to her face Ugg Man! but the end ohh the ending was sooo good I am so glad and happy Brent got a quick scare and finally accepted the mistake he did and he totally regretted saying those awful things to Hayden that just say there was a Happily Ever After in the end of the book. All and all it was an awesome awesome book I really really loved and enjoyed Asking For Trouble that I can not wait to read Staking His Claim it is about Brent mysterious best friend Matt and Brent little sister Lucy book Ohh the wait is just killing me even though it come out the beginning of February!

Tessa Bailey is originally from Carlsbad, California. The day after high school graduation, she packed her yearbook, ripped jeans and laptop, driving cross-country to New York City in under four days.

Her most valuable life experiences were learned thereafter while waitressing at K-Dees, a Manhattan pub owned by her uncle. Inside those four walls, she met her husband, best friend and discovered the magic of classic rock, managing to put herself through Kingsborough Community College and the English program at Pace University at the same time. Several stunted attempts to enter the work force as a journalist followed, but romance writing continued to demand her attention.

She now lives in Long Island, New York with her husband of eight years and four-year-old daughter. Although she is severely sleep-deprived, she is incredibly happy to be living her dream of writing about people falling in love.

  1. Yaaasss, anything by Tessa Bailey! Any Brazen, anyway. I had a bit of a hard time with one of her other series BUT I loved this Line of Duty series, and her new Made in Jersey series (Crashed Out is the only one published as of yet). Lovely review, Katiria!
