Synopsis

Being connected to Daemon Black sucks…

Thanks to his alien mojo, Daemon’s determined to prove what he feels for me is more than a product of our bizarro connection. So I’ve sworn him off, even though he’s running more hot than cold these days. But we’ve got bigger problems.

Something worse than the Arum has come to town…

The Department of Defense are here. If they ever find out what Daemon can do and that we're linked, I’m a goner. So is he. And there's this new boy in school who’s got a secret of his own. He knows what’s happened to me and he can help, but to do so, I have to lie to Daemon and stay away from him. Like that's possible. Against all common sense, I'm falling for Daemon. Hard.

But then everything changes…

I’ve seen someone who shouldn’t be alive. And I have to tell Daemon, even though I know he’s never going to stop searching until he gets the truth. What happened to his brother? Who betrayed him? And what does the DOD want from them—from me?

No one is who they seem. And not everyone will survive the lies…

My Thoughts

Holy cow wow just wow I tell you this that Mrs Armentrout now's how to shock me and twist my heart, there was one scene towards the end that I can not stopped thinking about it. It broke and twisted my heart I was saddened about that scene but I really did loved and enjoyed Onyx! I loved reading when Daemon was fighting to win Katy heart to make her understand that he loved and care about her way before he healed and got connected to her, but Katy was being really stubborn and deny her true feelings for Daemon and quite frankly that really annoyed me. Don't get me wrong I love and adore Kat but she can be so hard head sometimes and of course she did not listen to Daemon when her warn her about a person that he didn't trust, she had too learn it the hard way and she was totally crushed when she realized the real truth about that person!, and that Daemon was totally right about his warning to her about that person. I get it she wanted to learn and trained more about what she is and all that but geez she saw warning sign about this person when she first found out what he really was like come on Kat! But all and all Onyx was an awesome read for me that I can not wait to read Opal next. Well until next time my friends!
