Synopsis

In this third book in the Lunar Chronicles, Cinder and Captain Thorne are fugitives on the run, now with Scarlet and Wolf in tow. Together, they’re plotting to overthrow Queen Levana and her army.

Their best hope lies with Cress, a girl imprisoned on a satellite since childhood who's only ever had her netscreens as company. All that screen time has made Cress an excellent hacker. Unfortunately, she’s just received orders from Levana to track down Cinder and her handsome accomplice.

When a daring rescue of Cress goes awry, the group is separated. Cress finally has her freedom, but it comes at a high price. Meanwhile, Queen Levana will let nothing prevent her marriage to Emperor Kai. Cress, Scarlet, and Cinder may not have signed up to save the world, but they may be the only hope the world has.

My Thoughts

Wow I don't now where to start I finally decided to pick up and read Cress and I just want to kick myself for waiting so long to read it! I really loved and enjoyed Cress so much that I could not put it down to read!
I think Cress is by far my favorite book from The Lunar Chronicles I just loved reading the retelling of Rapunzel. The gang is still on the run from the queen Levana and from prince Kai guards who are hunting them down to arrest them. Along the way the met new friends to help them stop the wedding of prince Kai from the evil queen Levana so she would not control New Beijing from her evil ways. The met a lunar who is a hacker for the queen name Creasent Moon but she prefers to be called Cress she lives by herself in outer space on a satellite she been trying to help and warned the gang to stop the queen from marrying the Prince Kai but the lost contact with her for a while when the finally contacted her Cress ask for there help to save her and take her away from her evil mistress Sybil she did not want to work and help the queen no more when she finally realized the queen evil intents were truly for. The gang agreed to save her but the run into a nasty predicament with Cress evil mistress Sybil when the were going to rescue Cress after the attack from mistress Sybil the gang separated and some of them got hurt it was a long hard and healing journey for them to get back together again and then they were ready to stop the wedding and afterwards to safe one of there friends from Lunar prison who was captured from mistress Sybil. Ohh the ending was just pure awesome now the gang has to prepare to go to war and go to Lunar to safe there friend!

All and all I really enjoyed all the characters, the plot and world building it was all just a fantastic ride reading Cress that I can not wait to read Winter next when it comes out next year! Well until next time my friends!
