Synopsis

Samantha is a stranger in her own life. Until the night she disappeared with her best friend, Cassie, everyone said Sam had it all-popularity, wealth, and a dream boyfriend.

Sam has resurfaced, but she has no recollection of who she was or what happened to her that night. As she tries to piece together her life from before, she realizes it's one she no longer wants any part of. The old Sam took "mean girl" to a whole new level, and it's clear she and Cassie were more like best enemies. Sam is pretty sure that losing her memories is like winning the lottery. She's getting a second chance at being a better daughter, sister, and friend, and she's falling hard for Carson Ortiz, a boy who has always looked out for her-even if the old Sam treated him like trash.

But Cassie is still missing, and the facts about what happened to her that night isn't just buried deep inside of Sam's memory-someone else knows, someone who wants to make sure Sam stays quiet. All Sam wants is the truth, and if she can unlock her clouded memories of that fateful night, she can finally move on. But what if not remembering is the only thing keeping Sam alive?

My Thoughts

Yipee I finally read my first Jennifer L. Armentrout book and I just know that I would really loved and enjoyed it! Don't Look Back was a fantastic mystery/thriller book Ohh how I miss mystery/thriller books they are just awesome! Of Course I won't go into too much detailed about it but it begins with a girl wondering the streets in the dark bare feet and she is blooded and bruised and she has no idea where she came from or where she is at all. When the police spotted her wondering the streets they stop and asked her questions and what her name is and that's where she does not have no memory at all about herself yep she has amnesia. This is the first book ever that I read where the main character has lost her memory and I just loved it so much! The police takes her to the hospital and she goes through everything there until she meets her parents who she does not recognize at all and they tell her that her name is Samantha Fronco and that she and her best friend Cassie has been missing for four days, and that's where Sam felt bad because she has absolute no memory of what happen to the girl Cassie who supposedly was her best friend and that Sam was the last person to see her. When Sam get's out of the hospital that's where everything start's to get really good! Her parents told her everything about herself and Sam thought she had the perfect life but she learns real quick through out the book that she really did not have a happy perfect life at all! At the end of the book she finally remembers what happen to Cassie!!!!!!, and that where I am going to leave it off at! I can not wait to read more books by Jennifer L. Armentrout and now I can say that I am a fan of Jennifer L. Armentrout and she is one of my favorite authors as well! Well Until Next Time My Friends!
