Who is your favorite children's books author and why? (submitted by Kitty @ Vicarious Bookworm)
Dr. Seuss and P.D. Eastman is my favorite children's book author, I just love Dr. Seuss strange and quirky characters and the intriguing and strange world created within his books. I absolutely loved and adore Are You My Mother? by P.D. Eastman I always read that book when I was a kid.  I read a lot of these authors books in the mid-1980's to early 1990's when I was a kid.

    I've haven't read book by either author but love that there are many writers who are firm favourites for children.

    I never liked Dr. Seuss books and still don't to this day. I enjoyed reading The Little Golden Books. Have a great weekend!

    I've only heard of Dr. Seuss, but I don't think I've ever read any of his books.
