Katy knows the world changed the night the Luxen came.

She can't believe Daemon welcomed his race or stood by as his kind threatened to obliterate every last human and hybrid on Earth. But the lines between good and bad have blurred, and love has become an emotion that could destroy her—could destroy them all.

Daemon will do anything to save those he loves, even if it means betrayal.

They must team with an unlikely enemy if there is any chance of surviving the invasion. But when it quickly becomes impossible to tell friend from foe, and the world is crumbling around them, they may lose everything— even what they cherish most—to ensure the survival of their friends…and mankind.

War has come to Earth. And no matter the outcome, the future will never be the same for those left standing.

Tears Tears Holy Moly what an amazing ending to a fatastic book series that I will never forget I have to say The Lux Series was one of my many all time favorite series of this year I will never forget it! Thank You so much Jennifer L. Armentrout for writing such an awesome kick-ass story about aliens in High School that I really loved and enjoyed!

Ok Opposition starts of just where Origin left off where a whole luxen aliens come down to earth. These luxen are nothing like the Black's Ohh no not these luxen they are pure cold harted and ruthless luxen that all they want to do is to control earth and get rid of all the humans and luxen hybrid from earth. Let me start off from the beginning shall we it has been a couple of days since the Black's has left the house where the were hiding from the DOD since the luxen aliens arrived to earth. Katy was really worried about how Daemon, Dawson and Dee just vanished from the gang side so suddenly when the luxen arrived, and the more days past and not hearing or seeing Daemon arrived at the hide out the more worried Katy got she just kept on thinking about Daemon. Katy really wanted to go after Daemon, but Luc and Archer would always know what she was thinking it is kind of helpful when the origins can read minds so they always are a step ahead from Katy and the never let her leave the house. Archer and Luc always warned Katy that it was not smart for her to go after Daemon because it was really dangerous out especially now the luxen was invaded earth and they didn't now what the aliens were up too. But Archer know that it didn't look good and he had a gut feeling that Daemon, Dawson and Dee would never come back, but Katy was really stubborn and Katy didn't want to believe that Daemon would just leave her for good and never come back to her. Archer and Luc ask Katy to have a girls talk with Beth and too check on her on how she was feeling since Dawson left them. Since Katy could not leave the hide out she decided to check on Beth and have a girls talk with her. When Katy first saw Beth and saw how sick she was she got really worried about her and didn't understand why Beth was so sick because Hybrid never get sick until Beth let the bomb secret news that she was pregnant with Dawson child. Katy almost fated right than and there but after Katy calmed down and talk to Beth for a few hours she went to Archer and Luc and the look on there faces she know that they know Beth was pregnant. She totally flip out on them for not telling her about the situation with Beth and that Beth really needed to go see someone for her pregnancy and there was a little argument about that. After they all calmed and settled down they all looked through the internet to see what Beth needed for her pregnancy. Archer decided to take Katy with him to the store to get what Beth needed he took Katy with him because he know that Katy needed some fresh air and too get out of that house that they been all cooped up in for a few days now. But Ohh boy that was a really bad decision that Archer made to bring Katy with him. Let just say all hell broke loss in that store and shit really hit the fan for Katy there! I am going to leave it off there all I am going to say that Daemon had to make decisions and if that mean that will mark him a traitor so be it! I am really going too miss the Lux Series and I can not wait to read more of Jennifer L. Aremntrout works I am so addicted to her books!

  1. I only skimmed your review because I haven't read Opposition yet and don't want to be spoiled (which I've managed to avoid for a year!) but I still haven't decided if I even want to read it... this series holds such a special place in my heart, I don't want it to be over and I also like knowing that this book is out there should I need a new Daemon fix ;) anyways, I'm glad you loved it so much! Happy reading
