Forget the ghosts, Mica. It’s real, live people you should fear.

Tragedy has brought Micaela Burgos back to her hometown of Sleepy Hollow. It’s been six years since she chose to live with her father in Miami instead of her eccentric mother. And now her mother is dead.
This town will suck you in and not let go.

Sleepy Hollow may be famous for its fabled headless horseman, but the town is real. So are its prejudices and hatred, targeting Mica’s family as outsiders. But ghostly voices carry on the wind, whispering that her mother’s death was based on hate…not an accident at all. With the help of two very different guys—who pull at her heart in very different ways—Micaela must awaken the hidden secret of Sleepy Hollow…before she meets her mother’s fate.
Find the answers.

Unless, of course, the answers find you first.

*** I received this book on Netgalley in exchanged for an honest review. Thank you so much too Entangled: Teen for the opportunity to read and review Wake the Hollow! ***

Phew I've been really busy this month so I am way behind on my reads even though I am a few books ahead from my Goodreads challenge. But every time I pick this book up I always had too put it back down quickly. Not because I didn't like it because I absolutely love and enjoy Wake the Hollow a lot, but because I always got interrupted while reading it and that really got on my nerve more than anything. But finally this week has been less hectic and went back to normal I caught up and finished this amazing book this week. I tell you this book is an excellent book for Halloween because that's the month this book is set on. I absolutely love books that are set on Halloween especially if it is set in Sleepy Hollow because I love any books that are set in Sleepy Hollow and talks about the headless horsemen. This book is a different take of Sleepy Hollow though . Ohh it still has some paranormal aspects in this book with the horsemen. But it is more a YA Murder Mystery book for me which I absolutely love and enjoyed that twist in this book. You see Micaela Burgos comes back too Sleepy Hollow after six years she left her mother now her mother was found dead in a bath tub in her family home. Mica mother death was consider an accidental death by the police so Micaela decided too come back too Sleepy Hollow too settle her mother things and find out what truly happen to her mother. Mica has been having nightmare with a silhouette woman with a crying baby in her dreams and the silhouette woman asking for Micaela help too find something important. Micaela has been having these terrible nightmare when she find out her mother was dead. But Micaela is determine to find out what truly happen too her mother, because she has been hearing ghostly whisper in the winds as well since she first step into Sleepy Hollow and that her mother was killed because they hated for what her mom done and that her death was no accident at all. I absolutely love the twist and turns in this book that it left me guessing through the whole book. I really enjoyed putting the puzzle pieces together along with Micaela. Now there is kind of love triangle in this book but not really because the romance wasn't the main focused in this book, but there is still kind of a love triangle because Mica has too guys that pull in her heart strings in two different ways. Now I won't say the name of the two guys are because I don't want too spoil it for anybody, but I was rooted for one guy specifically who I thought was just perfect for Mica but I won't say who she choose you have too read a find out which guy she choses. But by the end of this book Micaela Burgos finds at all the secrets that her mom was keeping and the whole truth about her mothers death which absolutely broke her heart too pieces. Now I am going to stop right here because I don't want to be too spoiler for anybody but all and all I really love and enjoy Wake the Hollow especially I love Gaby Triana writing style. That I most definitely am going to continue on reading more books by Gaby Triana in the near feature.

Auburn Reed has her entire life mapped out. Her goals are in sight and there’s no room for mistakes. But when she walks into a Dallas art studio in search of a job, she doesn’t expect to find a deep attraction to the enigmatic artist who works there, Owen Gentry.

For once, Auburn takes a risk and puts her heart in control, only to discover Owen is keeping major secrets from coming out. The magnitude of his past threatens to destroy everything important to Auburn, and the only way to get her life back on track is to cut Owen out of it.

The last thing Owen wants is to lose Auburn, but he can’t seem to convince her that truth is sometimes as subjective as art. All he would have to do to save their relationship is confess. But in this case, the confession could be much more destructive than the actual sin…

Yes I absolutely Love Confess more than Ugly Love! I was caught totally surprise on how much I love and enjoy Confess. I just couldn't put this book down. Mind you I really wanted too now everything about Auburn and her life that she didn't want too tell Owen when she first met him at the beginning of the book. Which I totally understand you don't want too tell your life story too a complete stranger that you just met in a new town that you just move too. I felt absolutely terrible for Auburn on what she was going through the first chapters of the book it totally broke my heart for her there was a very sad event that happen in her life. When years past after the sad event you can tell that Auburn is struggling with her life she just moved too a new state and she feels alone and she doubts about herself all the time. She has no confidence in herself at all and she thinks she can never have a better life than the one she has now. When she left an office I won't say what kind of office it was because spoiler but she left the office and she was in tears after she left the office because she new she needed another job. But when she was walking toward her apartment by miracle she find an HELP WANTED SIGN outside an art gallery. And that's where Auburn met Owen Mason Gentry that his initials is  literally OMG! Owen Owen Owen what can I say of Mister OMG he is very handsome and very successful and talented artist that has secrets of his own as well. But when he first meets Auburn he consider it was fate that the two of them met again even though he remembers who Auburn is but it was the first time Auburn met Owen. It is kept a secret on how Owen knows who Auburn is. But don't worry we do find out on how he knows Auburn mid way through the book.  But you can tell that Owen and Auburn have a real attraction and connection too each other when the first met outside his art studio. But of course problems and trouble arise for both Owen and Auburn and there are two specific  S.O.B.'s who try too separate them apart. And the two S.O.B's I am talking about is Lydia and Trey I won't say who these two jerks are because of course spoiler but the both of them are real douchbags that made poor Auburn life really hard and terrible for her. And I totally despise them so much for what they were doing to poor Auburn and Owen. But I will say the both Lydia and Trey are related and that's all I am going to say about those two idiots. But by the end of Confess Auburn outsmarted and outwits both Lydia and Trey that it was pure genius and perfect on how Auburn finally get's her Happily Every After with Owen. All and All I absolutely love and enjoy Confess so much that I can't wait too read more books by Colleen Hoover in the near feature.

Blake Ruthless teaser 1
Riley’s mouth came down on hers again. She could feel his hunger, and his hands roamed over the curves of her hips and backside, rubbing himself against her. It fed her own. She’d never felt more wanted, needed by a man. He didn’t seem to simply want sex with someone. He seemed to need her—only her. She wrapped her arms around him and held on, letting him lead. His mouth moved down, kissing her jaw and ear. “Do you have any idea what I want to do to you?” A little bit. She’d always been quiet during sex, preferring to con- centrate on the sensations, but she wanted to hear him. She wanted to know he was with her. “What do you want to do?” She shivered with heat as his tongue ran along the shell of her ear and he nipped the lobe, a thrill shooting through her. His voice was a low, sexy growl in her ear. “I think about stripping you down all the time.” He turned her suddenly and her back was pressed to his front. She could feel the hard ridge of his erection against her backside. His arms wound around her, keeping her close. “You want me naked?” She didn’t want to stop talking. She could see now that her other sexual encounters had been defined by the walls she’d put up. Though she’d had a partner, she’d been essentially alone in whatever pleasure she’d found. With her ex-husband she would turn off the lights, enjoy the ride, and then sleep in silence, their physicality the only true intimacy between them. She didn’t want that with Riley. His hands moved up, cupping her breasts through the thin mate- rial of her blouse and bra. The warmth of his mouth and lips moved on her neck. “I’ll have you naked. I’ll get rid of every single thing that comes between us. I’ll strip you and then touch every inch of your body. You might be the boss in the boardroom, but I intend to lead here. I intend to have you every way I can have a woman, Ellie. Once I’m inside you, I won’t want to leave.” He was still giving her a way out. She wasn’t going to take it. “Yes, Riley. I won’t change my mind.” His thumbs rasped over her nipples. “I’ll fucking hold you to that. I will.” She had no idea why he sounded so resolute, but his hands were working the buttons of her blouse, dragging it out of the waistband of her skirt and peeling it back. Cool air hit her skin. Her brain was foggy with lust. Her whole system had softened in a way it never had before. She felt hot, her muscles tight with need, but she let Riley take over. He slipped off her bra and then sighed against her skin as he cupped her breasts again. “Fuck, that feels so good. These are beautiful, baby. Do you have any idea how long I’ve wanted to get my hands on these?” She leaned back against him, her head cradled by the strength of his chest. He was solid all over. His callused hands rubbed against her skin, the feeling of masculinity making her feel more feminine than she’d ever felt before. His fingers rolled her nipples and for a moment, she couldn’t breathe. “You’re going to give me everything I want, aren’t you, Ellie? You’re going to let me play with this body. You’re going to wrap your- self around me and let me have you like I’ve dreamed of. Without reservations, no thoughts of anything but how we can make each other feel.” Forgetting everything else seemed like the best idea ever. She needed this. Needed to let go of everything and simply be. She hadn’t done it in years, maybe never. But it felt right with Riley. It felt good and true. “Yes. I don’t want to be anywhere but with you. Only you.” His hand fumbled with the button on the back of her skirt and he cursed, finally managing to undo it. “Damn it. I’m not going to last once I get inside you. I’m going to be good for you, Ellie. I promise. I’ll make it so fucking good for you.” She loved the growl he got in his voice when he was really aroused. And the way his hands shook. She wasn’t in this alone. He was with her, right beside her in his need. She helped him, shoving the skirt down and kicking off her shoes. When she was down to nothing but her undies, she turned in his arms. She was a little too big, her breasts real. Unlike many women her age, she’d never lifted them or enlarged them. They sagged slightly and she was well aware that her hips were curvier than fashionable. Would he turn her away? Would he see she wasn’t as pretty as he’d thought? He stared, his eyes going right to her breasts. “You’re so gorgeous, Ellie. Do you have any idea what I’ve gone through since that first day? I’ve never masturbated as much as I have in the last week.” Yep, the man knew what to say to her. She was pretty sure she was glowing. “I’ve thought about you, too.” “I want you to tell me all about that, but later, baby. Right now, I’m going to do what I’ve wanted to do since the moment I met you.”

NY Times and USA Today bestselling author Lexi Blake lives in North Texas with her husband, three kids, and the laziest rescue dog int eh world. What is your take on DNF Books. Do you review them? Choose not too review them?

My Answer:

There has been a few books that I have DNF but I do not rate or review them, because I feel it is unfair for me to review or rate a book that I have not finished reading the whole book. But that is only my opinion. I do totally understand why readers do rate and give an honest review of an DNF books. And that is absolutely ok as well.
