Ahh my emotions is every where's with The Rose & The Dagger that I need to really express my whole feelings about this amazing book that I will just burst if I don't get these feelings out. Now I am going to try not to go any details about this book because it is the second book of the Wrath & the Dawn so I don't want to get too spoiler for anybody. But OMGosh what a ride The Rose & the Dagger was for me. The Rose & the Dagger starts right off where The Wrath & the Dawn left off at. Shazi is reunited once again with her family, but Tariq took her into a campground where he and his uncle is setting up and to start a war against the monster King Shazi beloved husband Khalid. Now she is stuck in the battle campground for a reason but I won't say why she stay's there because spoiler. But she can not leave that campground for a reason and I am going to leave it off as that. But along her stay at the campground she met a lot of different people and not so great people. That some of them despise Shazi so much that she won't say what people she choose too fight with from the upcoming war. But Shazi can't say one word who she choose because it can be really dangerous for her and her family who is staying at that campground she decided to remain silent. Even though she change her mind about the upcoming war. That one person actually attack Shazi and her sister because of her silence so she had too lie a little bit but everybody doesn't believe her at all. Shazi was determined too stop this war one way or the other and too save her beloved husband. Now I am going to leave it off here, but I will say in the middle of the book starts too get really pick up. And we start too met another amazing character along the way that will help Shazi with her problems and become a beloved and close friend too her that she is forever grateful too have met the specific person and love that person like family. Now during reading The Rose & the Dagger I was on my toes and my emotions was on high after everything that Shazi and Khalid goes through. Especially what Shazi little sister Irsa goes through in one scene that just broke my heart that I was tearing up while reading that specific scene. That I had to put down the book for just a minute. And after the bitter sweet ending my heart was pure content on how everything wrap up at the end. As you can tell I really love and enjoy The Rose & the Dagger that I do highly recommend reading this fantastic duology. If you love YA and fantasy than this book is for you. If you haven't read YA or fantasy book I still say give this book a shot you never know you might be surprise.

Oooh - I LOVED this duology. I read the first book as part of a read-a-thon and then I just HAD to pick up the second straight away! I'm so glad that you loved it too!!!
