Here Is My WOW  Pick For This Week:

Fire in You (Wait for You #6)

By J. Lynn

Publication Date: November 28th 2016 by Jennifer L. Armentrout

From the # 1 New York Times and International bestselling author, Jennifer L. Armentrout writing as J.Lynn, comes a richly moving story about heartbreak and guilt, second chances and hope. Full of familiar, fan-favorite characters and no two people more deserving of a happy ending, Fire In You will burn bright beyond the last page…

Jillian Lima’s whole world was destroyed in a span of a few hours. The same night her childhood love, Brock ‘the Beast’ Mitchell, broke her heart, her life was irrevocably altered by the hand of a stranger with a gun. It takes six years to slowly glue together the shattered pieces of her life, but Jillian is finally ready to stop existing in a past full of pain and regret. She takes a job at her father’s martial arts Academy and she’s going out on her first date since a failed relationship that was more yuck than yum. Jillian is determined to start living.

She just never expected Brock to be a part of her life again. But he’s firmly back in her life before she knows it, and not only is he older, he’s impossibly more handsome, more teasing and more everything. And when he sees Jillian, he’s no longer capable of thinking of her as the little girl who was his shadow growing up or the daughter of the man who gave him a second chance at life. He sees the woman who’d always been there for him, the one person who believed in him no matter what.

Brock knows she’s the one he should’ve made his, and what begins as a tentative friendship quickly turns to red-hot chemistry that sparks a flame that burns brighter than lust. Falling for Brock again risks more than her heart, because when the past sorrow-filled and guilt-ridden past resurfaces, and a web of lies threatens to rip them apart, the fallout could lay waste to everything they’ve fought to build together, and destroy the dreams of those they care most about.

I think Jennifer L. Armentrout is going too self-publish the sixth and final book of Wait For You series I think but I am not 100% sure. Now I can't wait too get this last book in my hands hopefully I can get it on e-book form. I have the first five books in paperback's but I have not read them yet. I might just binge read them all together when the last book comes out.

Exclusive Excerpt: “Let me have her.” I held my hands in the direction of Colin, who’d been pacing with Charlotte in his arms. She was the only happy person in the room and had entertained herself for the past ten minutes by chewing on her fist. He deposited her into my arms and resumed pacing. She grabbed at my chunky silver necklace and lunged for my curls. I knew she wanted to play peek-a-boo in my hair because lately that was her favorite entertainment. “No, babykins. Let’s leave Mommy’s hair alone for tonight.” I swept my curls back with my free hand, and she giggled into my chest. My hair had grown even longer in Caleb’s absence, since I hadn’t had the desire to do anything with it. But my hair didn’t matter, Charlotte’s slobbery little mouth didn’t matter, nothing mattered. We were about to be a family—for the first time. A surge went through me. I was giddy. Manic, even, at the thought of Caleb’s return. I blew a fart noise on Charlotte’s cheek and she laughed more. Bouncing Charlotte on my hip, we turned again to the window, and she reached her chubby hand to the glass, as if trying to touch the night. I’d dressed her in a frothy, hot pink dress with a tulle skirt. She looked unbearably adorable, and it would be impossible for Caleb not to recognize his own child with big blue eyes so identical to his. Colin’s phone buzzed. “It’s him.” He inhaled sharply, then answered and grinned. “Hey. Yeah, we’re all here. Okay.” He hung up. “Caleb and Dad and Mom are in the lobby.” Laura gave a little muffled cry and hugged Sarah, who stared hard at me over Laura’s shoulder. “I’m fine,” I mouthed to her, not feeling fine at all. I kissed Charlotte’s cheek. “Daddy’s home,” I whispered, trying not to shake too much. Charlotte seemed unusually heavy. After a few seconds, a nervous, barking laugh escaped my lips. “How long does it take for the elevator to crawl up here?” No one responded. Then, the ding of the elevator bell. The sliding open of the doors. And my husband walked in. FB-ad-2 About Tamara Lush: me

My Teasers:

"Well, you keep making is come out here like this," says one of them.

"It was an accident." I shrug as I get out of the car.

"Trying to blind a man with tabasco sauce was an accident?"

Pg. 7

"I'm going to be frank with you Nessa." She sighed. "A lot of this is out of my hands." She slid a piece of paper  over me, one with my signature on the bottom. "The second you signed this, you made it damn near impossible to ever get those kids back, even if you had nothing to do with it." But I remembered the choice being taken out of my hands when I was facing a life term, the way they said that it what was best for them since I'd be rotting the rest of my life away in prison. And if that were the case, they'd be right. But I wasn't rotten in prison, not anymore. "Nessa this can take years. And even then the chances are slim."

Pg. 63-64

“Do you remember Emma?” Lucas asked.
“As a matter of fact, I do. It’s a pleasure to see you again.” Abe held my hand. I remembered meeting him at Ray’s auto body shop, although I could have sworn he looked different. Shorter hair, maybe?
“Nice to see you,” I answered, returning his welcoming smile.
“Lucas, did you ever meet my brother, Henrik?” Abe asked.
“Call me Henry,” he said. He shook hands with Lucas first, then reached for my hand and kissed it gently. “Very lovely to meet you, Miss Emma.” He had a hint of an accent. Even though they both looked like they were mid-twenties, Henry acted much older.
I blushed. That kind of attention might be common wherever he came from, but not here in Westport.
“You’re adorable. I didn’t mean to embarrass you, darlin’.”
Drew returned with a tray full of shots before I had time to answer Henry. After introductions, Lucas gave a toast and everyone drank back the whiskey. I didn’t want one, but I drank it anyway. Actually, I choked on it. I didn’t think any of the guys noticed until Henry put his hand on the small of my back and asked if I was okay.
“Yes. Thank you.”
When I looked up at him, I realized he had a beautiful set of ice-gray eyes. The colors were piercing. Shades of white intermixed with hints of silver and turquoise. The longer I stared, the more the hues changed. Blues faded and whites darkened. Chills ran up my arms, but I couldn’t look away. I strained to keep my eyes open despite how heavy my eyelids felt.
A tingling swept over me until I was completely relaxed.
Like a kaleidoscope, Henry’s eye colors swirled. His pupils dilated.
I closed my eyes and saw a young woman with long, brown hair running through tall grass on a sunny afternoon. I felt the warmth on my skin, tilting my head back to catch the rays. I was tired.
Was I floating?
“Emma, can I get you something to drink?” Abe asked. His hand was on my arm. Stunned, I stared up at him. Did I just fall asleep?
I shook my head quickly. “I’m okay,” I mumbled. My eyes were dry and sore, and the strange sensation, the warm, comforting feeling I had, was gone.
Did I just imagine that?

Freedom Oliver has plenty of secrets. She lives in a small Oregon town and keeps mostly to herself. Her few friends and neighbors know she works at the local biker bar; they know she gets arrested for public drunkenness almost every night; they know she’s brash, funny, and fearless.

What they don’t know is that Freedom Oliver is a fake name. They don’t know that she was arrested for killing her husband, a cop, twenty years ago. They don’t know she put her two kids up for adoption. They don’t know that she’s now in witness protection, regretting ever making a deal with the Feds, and missing her children with a heartache so strong it makes her ill.

Then, she learns that her daughter has gone missing, possibly kidnapped. Determined to find out what happened, Freedom slips free of her handlers, gets on a motorcycle, and heads for Kentucky, where her daughter was raised. As she ventures out on her own, no longer protected by the government, her troubled past comes roaring back at her: her husband’s vengeful, sadistic family; her brief, terrifying stint in prison; and the family she chose to adopt her kids who are keeping dangerous secrets.

Written with a ferocious wit and a breakneck pace, Freedom’s Child is a thrilling, emotional portrait of a woman who risks everything to make amends for a past that haunts her still.

Ohh Wow what a very powerful and dark book was Freedom's Child that I absolutely love and enjoy every bit of it. I will tell you all the truth I had no idea what was the plot or concept of this book all I know that it was a mystery thriller and suspense book. Which I have read a lot of mystery thrillers before but not quite like this one before and I really loved that aspect of this book. It was really a refreshing read for me, now there are many trigger warning for Freedom's Child this is a real dark book about violence, revenge, redemption and actually hope if you can believe it. If you don't like dark books with heavy trigger warning than this book is not for you, there where are few things that I a cringe and didn't like but I didn't let that detour me from reading this book. I have been wanted too spread my reading experience with books that I don't usually read and this is one of the books that I know I would never have pick up when I was much younger. But the plot and concept hooked me from the very beginning I couldn't put this book down. I absolutely love the whole complexity of Freedom's Child especially all the characters yes even the pure evil villains in this book, and I tell you the villains are pure evil and derange that I was petrified about them I always got chills running down my back when I was reading about them. I can also really see that the author study and learn everything for the concept of this book and I think she did an absolute fantastic job describing everything for us in Freedom's Child. That I absolutely felt just horrible for what Freedom Oliver has been through in this book like this women has been through hell and back and I just wanted too give Freedom a hug and cry with her for all the horrible and injustice that she went through in her life. But there is always hope and faith and that's exactly what we see at the end of this book even though it was a bittersweet ending we still see hope and love at the end, that I actually got teary eyed reading the end especially the twist the author wrote right at the end that put a teary smile while I was reading the last paragraph of Freedom's Child. I really do highly recommend Freedom's Child but beware this book is really dark with a lot of trigger warning in it. If you can handle that than please do give this amazing and fantastic book a try!

*** I received Freedom's Child from Blogging For Books Program in exchanged for an honest review . Thank you so much Crown Publishing for giving me opportunity to read and review Freedom's Child's ***

Twenty-eight-year-old Maggie Sparkes arrives in New York City to pack up what’s left of her best friend’s belongings after a suicide that has left everyone stunned. The police have deemed the evidence conclusive: Celine got into bed, downed a bottle of Xanax and a handle of Maker’s Mark, and never woke up. But when Maggie discovers secrets in the childhood lock box hidden in Celine’s apartment, she begins asking questions. Questions about the man Celine fell in love with. The man she never told anyone about, not even Maggie. The man who Celine herself claimed would be her ruin.

On the hunt for answers that will force the police to reopen the case, Maggie uncovers more than she bargained for about Celine’s private life—and inadvertently puts herself on the radar of a killer who will stop at nothing to keep his crimes undiscovered.

Wow He Will Be My Ruin was an absolutely fantastic and amazing book for me I really love everything about it. Now I was in a huge book slump in the end of July so this book took me some time to finish it. I started reading this book around the end of July and I read a few chapters in the beginning and I always had too put it down. Not because I didn't love this book but because I was not in the mood too read so I kept on renewing this book from the library I actually renew it four times I now bad right. I really didn't read in two weeks than I realize I was in a huge book slump which I tell you never happens too me. I was hoping and praying that I never ever get into a book slump ever but sadly in nip me in the bud this year. But around mid Aug when I renewed this book the fourth time I had to finish it, and it actually got me back into reading and out of my slump yes I really loved and enjoyed this book so much. That I don't want to go into too much details. But this is actually the first time I read K.A. Tucker book and it won't be my last. I've heard a lot of amazing things about her books that I have too give one of her books a try. So I check out He Will Be My Ruin from the library and I tell you I was so glad and happy that I check it out. This book was everything I love it is an adult, mystery, suspense and thriller book. It also has two different pov's in this book. Which the two pov's where of Maggie and her childhood best friend Celine. I absolutely love being in the mind of these two best friends and getting too know and learn more about them. Maggie just arrived at NY of her now dead best friend Celine apartment where they found Celine dead in her apartment. The police said that Celine died from suicide but Maggie does not believe that Celine would of kill herself after Celine had a lot going right in her life she was going to go too a prestige collage of her dreams too finally get the job that she has always wanted since she was a kid. She would not end her life when she had everything going right for her. Maggie had a lot of questions while she was in NY too settle Celine stuff in her apartment. So when Maggie find out Celine dark secrets in her apartments she had more questions and she was determined too get the answers she wanted. And she definitely found answers but there were answers she probably didn't want too find out until it was too late she was in too deep but Maggie was determined too find out what truly happened to Celine. Even if it meant that her own life was in danger! I am going to stop right here without getting too spoiler for anybody. All in all I absolutely love and enjoyed He Will Be My Ruin that I will most definitely will continue too read K.A. Tucker other books. I do highly recommend this book if you love adult, mystery, suspense and thriller books than this book is for you!

Born in small-town Ontario, K.A. Tucker published her first book at the age of six with the help of her elementary school librarian and a box of crayons.

She currently resides in a quaint town outside of Toronto with her husband, two beautiful girls, and a Chug.
